When I was in the middle of my health battles, purpose was the last thing on my mind.
I was focused on getting through the day.
The next appointment.
The next test.
The next challenge.
Survival required all my energy.
But hindsight has a remarkable way of revealing meaning.
Today, I can see connections I could not see then.
The experiences that once felt random were preparing me.
The challenges that once felt unfair were shaping me.
The pain that once felt pointless was teaching me compassion.
Survival taught me that purpose is not always found in comfort.
Sometimes it is discovered in adversity.
Sometimes it emerges from loss.
Sometimes it grows in places we would never willingly choose.
I would never have chosen the surgeries.
I would never have chosen the diagnoses.
I would never have chosen the uncertainty.
Yet those experiences helped shape the woman I have become.
They deepened my empathy.
Strengthened my faith.
And clarified my mission.
Today, when I look at the women served through My Gynae Foundation, I am reminded that purpose often begins where pain once lived.
And that our greatest trials can become the source of our greatest impact.
If my journey has taught me anything, it is this:
Survival is not the end of the story.
Sometimes it is the beginning of a calling.
