Nobody enjoys waiting.
Waiting for test results. Waiting for surgery dates. Waiting for treatment plans. Waiting for answers.
Waiting can feel unbearable.
Especially when your future seems uncertain.
The hospital waiting room became an unexpected classroom for me.
It taught me patience. It taught me surrender. It taught me how little control I truly had.
And it taught me that faith often grows in places we would rather avoid.
I wish I could say I waited gracefully.
I did not.
Some days I worried. Some days I imagined worst-case scenarios. Some days I questioned everything.
Yet God met me there too.
Not only in the answers. But in the waiting.
Not only in the outcome. But in the process.
Waiting rooms are uncomfortable places.
But they are also places where faith is refined.
Where trust deepens. Where perspective changes. And sometimes where miracles begin.
